A 522-Product Herbal Store, Built Bilingual

The Challenge

A physical pansari store with hundreds of remedies, sold by names most customers know in Urdu rather than English. Getting that catalogue online meant solving naming, categorisation, and browsing at the same time. A shopper looking for Roghan Kuchla and a shopper looking for cold-pressed oils are the same person arriving from two different directions.

What We Built

• 522 products loaded across 12 categories, from company medicines (157) and herbs (262) to oils, sharbats, supplements, and dry fruits
• Dual-language product titles so every item carries its English and Urdu name in one field, searchable either way
• Price-range filter and category sidebar on the shop archive, plus sort-by-rating
• Best sellers and trending rows on the homepage, driven by real sales data rather than a manual pick
• A prescription category so the pharmacy can list its own formulations separately from branded stock
• Contact and FAQ pages, plus a first-purchase discount banner

The Result

Why It Worked

The temptation with a catalogue this size is to simplify it, and that would have been the wrong call. The Urdu names are the product names to most of this shop's customers. Keeping both and making both searchable is what turned a large, messy inventory into something a person can actually shop.
